Position: Network Engineer/Telecommunications Specialist

 

·         Acting team lead/technical lead for the ITSS Network Services Division from January 2012 to June 2012. Responsible for design, installation, implementation and maintenance of a LAN with 200 devices and 13000 users. Had a team of 7 network engineers.

·         Responsible for design, installation and troubleshooting of network infrastructure for approximately 25 buildings (13,000 users) in the metro Washington DC area, core campus buildings are on a 10GE RAN, 2GE MAN and 1GE CAN with layer 1 ADVA transport gear, other sites are connected with various Ethernet circuits, 200 devices in current production network(6509, 6513, 4507, 3845,3945).

·         Configure and troubleshoot controllers such as Cisco Catalyst 6500 series wireless service modules(WiSM), Cisco 4400 and 5500 series Wireless LAN Controllers
